Week 7-14--7-20-12 - Butte, MT and Billings BLM District, MT:

 A fire helicopter dips into the Bighorn Canyon on the MT-WY border before returning to a fire 80 miles away in WY

 Fire on hay fields when a farmer's equipment sparked a blaze


 Looking for smokes after dry lightening

 This wild horse was orphaned at a young age - her scars are the result of the many fights she got in with every failed attempt to join a new band of wild horses. She was found alone, starving, and transported to the adopt-a-wild-horse headquarters in southern MT.
