A New Year, A New Camera! Jan 1-7, 2011 - McBee, SC

Over the holidays, my faithful camera of 5 years suffered a stroke of sorts - the attack was almost instant, and it is believed very little pain was felt before it moved on to camera heaven (where I like to imagine it will never have to take low light or action shots again).

So, this new year brought with it a new camera, Canon Powershot S95. I offered her a warm welcome... by traveling south again to McBee, SC.

Happy New Year!

Sap flows freely from a skinned longleaf pine. For decades longleafs were the major source of turpentine and naval stores in the US and abroad.
