Week 1-22 thru 1-28-11 - Charleston and McBee, SC

Old box cut up an old long leaf pine - used to collect turpentine for naval stores.


Week 1-29 thru 2-4-11 - McBee, SC



Freshly raked red-cockaded woodpecker tree - all habitat trees of the endangered bird have to be raked prior to introduction of prescribed fire on the landscape.

Explosion at the local fertilizer plant on Valentine's Day

Week 2-12 thru 2-18-11 - Charlotte and McBee

Hispanic flea market en route to Charlotte. Hundreds of tables and stands every Saturday.
